KIU Titans will look to bounce back to winning ways when they take on City Oilers in game two of the 2024 National Basketball League final series at Lugogo indoor Arena on Friday evening (9pm EAT).

After losing game one 70-61, the Titans travel to Lugogo Indoor Arena determined to better their performance and level the series.

The team played extremely well in game one on Wednesday despite battling fatigue and exhaustion. They hope to build on where they ended to beat the nine-time champions.

Having had at least 24 hours of rest like it has been since the beginning of the Semifinals series, the Titans will look to bounce back stronger to keep the championship hopes more alive.

Julius Lutwama's boys were also cost by a few mistakes and misses in game one, and they must limit them in order to win on Friday.

Game one also saw only two Titans score in double figures, with the team's lead scorer Pierre Kasereka Tembo leaving the court without a point while Juf Mpiya, Joel Lukoji Banza, and Edgar Munaba all failed to make double figures

It should be noted that KIU Titans have struggled to win games in which two or fewer players have scored in double figures

Lutwama will look to see his team score some more in game two as he also embarks on a good defence. Like he did against Namuwongo's shooting stars in the Semifinals, the tactician is expected to show up with a Solution for City Oilers' riotous new man, Petty Parish who literally made the difference in game one

His compatriot Juf Mpiya did not have a good day in office on Wednesday, but the dunk King looked lively during the team's training on Thursday. He is set to fire again.

Having impressed with his first double of the season (10 points), centre Ivan Lumanyika is expected to get some more minutes on the court while high flying guard Peter Obleng is available to take his show to another level.
