KIU Titans Coach, Raymond Muhumuza says shooting guard, Isaiah Ater Mabeny is arguably the best in NBL when it comes to shooting three pointers. This follows Ater's exciting performance against Power basketball club. Isaiah Ater Mabeny was instrumental in KIU Titans win over DMark Power basketball club on Friday evening,contributing the game's highest 21 points. His coach, Raymond Muhumuza was impressed by his output, rating him above the rest in the NBL. Ater's 21 points came from six threes and one lay up but he was outstanding in others roles as well. Muhumuza described his display as a magnificent one. "Oh wow, really magnificent, magnificent for us,he set the pace not only on the offense,I know everybody was happy with three points but he did big for us in defense as well with his three points shooting,put his body on the line, picking good rebounds for us,challenging the bigs of Power. He was really good," "The offense,I mean,that's what he does ,puts in alot of work and I think he is arguably the best in the league on three point shooting," he added. Ater credits his teammates for his imperius performance on Friday. "Good performace from the team and a good win for the team," he said. When asked, how he does it to maintain his clinical shooting from the three pointer zones,Ater attributed everything to discipline and consistency. "I Keep the discpline in me by being consistent on my personal workouts," he explained. Ater has been phenomenal since joining KIU Titans in 2022. His signing is considered one of the biggest factors that inspired a redemption of this team in the second round of last season was one of the dependable individuals as the Titans finished fouth in the league. His sensational display against DMark Power on Friday is his best this season having began the campaign with an injury. However that was only a tip of an iceberg of what he is capable of. Thus the hope that his very best is yet to come.
