KIU Titans face JKL Dolphins Tonight

The wait is now officially over and your favorite team, KIU Titans will be in action against JKL Dolphins this evening at the MTN Arena in Lugogo. This will be KIU Titans first fixture for the second round of this NBL season. Our game tonight, tips off at 8:30 EAT. All eyes will certainly be looking for the just returned prodigal son,Denis Balungu who coach Julius Lutwama has confirmed will be fit to make a third Debut as a Titan. "Balungu will be on the floor for sure though our concept is new to him but given his Basketball intelligence, there is confidence that he will manuevr through," Lutwama said in Pre-game presser. Lutwama also confirmed that the Titans are in good shape and spirits to go about business in the second round. "The team is in good shape as per the game this Wednesday and the entire second round," he noted. KIU Titans beat JKL Dolphins in the last game which was also the team's last fixture for the first round and Wednesday nights' clash is seen as chance for the Dolphins to avenge that defeat at our home court but according to Coach Julius Lutwama,the Titans are not ready to slip. "Every team in the second round wants to win the games they lost in the opening round. so I know for sure that they will come strong but it's just more difficult for them that we also don't want to lose and want to see our shelves better," he said. Lutwama also gave an update on the team's injury status noting that," all our Injuries are minor but definitely our medical team takes players health very serious so I don't know what players they will approve for Wednesday's game."
